The strong effect of films in our life.

The strong effect of films in our life.

The lights go off, it’s just the screen and you. Are you ready to be transported to another world? Are you ready to enter a new reality? If the answer is yes, then you’re in the right place. There is silence for a moment, then the movie starts, and a new journey awaits you. Have you ever wondered why you enjoy this journey? How many times were you able to connect with the characters on the screen?

Cinema can energise and capture many aspects of our human condition, from emotions to lived and shared experiences. Many people connect important/significant life events to the films they have seen/watched. For some, a single movie can influence their beliefs, choises or even the direction of their lives. A single character, scene, or dialogue has the power to stay with the viewer for a long time, leaving a lasting imprint on the soul or mind of the viewer. This realisation can inspire curiosity about how films shape our lives and empower personal growth.

Greek music in new paths

The new generation of Greek singers and composers has given a strong impetus to musical events. A key difference from earlier times is the higher level of musical education among new singers. In the past, most artists in traditional music were self-taught.   Another essential feature is the transmission of personal experiences through musical renditions and overall stage presence.

Ιoulia Karapataki.

The new music environment blends different musical genres, combining the new with the old. But there is a sense that something is absent from the latest music reality.

What is this?  The wealth of lyrics that will create a new wave in local music, like those from the 1955-1975  era. There is a question about what is more important in a song. The lyrics or the music composing? Usually, the answer is that both are important, and the good acceptance depends on a good blend. I believe the lyrics are the key to a new song’s widespread success.

An example is the folk song from Nikos Oikonomidis.

The lyrics of this song, speak directly to the heart of the listener.

You may think that the songwriter desires to provide you with a way to tell others about your feelings.
